 Simply press a Vlier ball button into a reamed hole, and you have the perfect mating detent for Vlier Ball Plungers. Vlier ball buttons prevent part damage and provide a hardened striker plate to take the wear and tear of side loads. End is chamfered to make insertion easy.
Precision made-Diameter is held to +.0002, -.0000. Material is 440C stainless steel, hardened and ground. Available in 8 sizes to accomodate all models of Vlier ball plungers.
