 		Vlier has expanded its line of ball plungers to include the miniature size(4-48,5-40,6-40,8-32,8-36) in steel. Vlier ball plungers are compact units for use where side loads are a problem, such as in indexing automatic feed devices, gear shifters, locators in progressive dies, torque-limiting clutches, positioning levers-wherever you need controlled end forces.
Standard balls are made of type 440C stainless steel. Balls of K-Monel, aluminum, etc., can also be furnished as specials. Bodies are color coded to indicate end forces: zinc plated=light force; black=standard force; gold=heavy force.
Quickly installs from either end-Only tool required is a Vlier wrench.

Stainless Steel Body
Stainless Steel Ball
 		All parts are made of stainless steel for maximum protection against rust and corrosion. Body is 300 series, spring is  17-7 PH (except SSB-46 is 302), and ball is 440C Stainless steel. Body end is color coded to indicate end forces: clear=light force; black=standard force; orange=heavy force.
