Model 71100-71150, 71200-71250, 71300-71350

De-Sta-Co's 1/2 Ton and 1 Ton hydraulic swing cylinder clamps are available in both single and double-acting versions.
For each of the 1 Ton Models, the arm travels 1.05" downward during the 90° rotation. Then, there is a .50" of straight downward clamping stroke. The 1/2 Ton Models have a total of .58" of downward arm travel during the 90° rotation. Its straight downward clamping stroke is .33". the efficient design results in a dependable clamping unit.

These quick-acting clamps offer a wide variety of features:

  • 90° swing of clamp arm minimizes obstruction in the workspace and makes loading and unloading of parts easier
  • .50" of downward clamping stroke allows for wide part size variation for 1 Ton units. 1/2 Ton units have .33" of downward clamping stroke
  • Quick swing-and-clamp movement reduces cycle times
  • Three mounting options allow the clamp to be adapted to the fixture for best use of space and to minimize setup time
  • Rod weepage is virtually eliminated

Swing Cylinder Rotation: Frame of reference for specifying rotation is the clamp arm viewed from above during the clamping stroke. A right-hand unit rotates clockwise and then clamps down; a left-hand unit rotates counter-clockwise, and then clamps down.

Mounting Options
 Power Sources
  1. Threaded body in a tapped hole. Position is locked by a single cap screw into a tapped hole in fixture.
  2. Cylinder body passes through a clearance hole. Three mounting screws pass through the top flange into holes tapped in fixture.
  3. Optional mounting block 706304, 706305, 706342 may be used above or below the work surface. Clamp height is easily reset.
 A booster is a good source of power for single-acting swing cylinder (71200-71250). However, boosters are not recommended for double-acting swing cylinders. A double acting swing cylinder (71100-71150, 71300-71350) should be powered by a pump acting through a 4-way hydraulic valve. Existing machine hydraulics can also be used as a power source.
