Steel Arbor Spacers and Shims


Arbor spacers and shims are ideal for fast, accurate spacing of milling cutters, gang saws, slitter and other spacing applications. They are made of selected cold rolled strip steel and held to tight tolerances.
Packaged in sealed polyethylene bags.
Available in these thicknesses:

.001, .0015, .002, .003, .004, .005, .006, .007, .008, .010, .012, .015, .020, .025, .032, .047, .062, .093, and .125.


Available in sets with 1 piece of each thickness per set.

When arbors are ordered they are supplied with standard keyways shown.

A complete line of hardened and ground steel spacing collars is readily available. These close-tolerance collars are furnished with standard keyways and chamfered edges. Fifteen thicknesses available from 1/8” to 3”.

Lengthening and Shortening Shims
The major use is with shoulder screws to lengthen or shorten die stripper travel. The lengthening shims fit over the screw threads and down onto the shoulder to effectively lengthen the stripper travel. The shortening shims are sized to clear the screw shoulder and fit under the screw head to shorten the effective stripper travel. Please specify thickness and shoulder screw size when ordering. Minimum order: 50 per size and thickness.
